April is the Founder & CEO of Hartloff Benefit Solutions, LLC, a woman-owned agency based in East Aurora, NY. With over 20 years of experience in employee benefits, Medicare, and health insurance, she has built a reputation as a trusted advocate and hands-on partner for her clients.
She founded Hartloff Benefit Solutions on the belief that every client deserves personalized guidance, clear communication, and a caring approach to navigating today’s complex benefits landscape. April and her team specialize in helping businesses streamline their employee benefit programs while guiding individuals through Medicare with confidence.
April holds a New York State Property & Casualty license, a Life, Accident & Health license, and the Group Benefits Disability Specialist designation. She is an active member of the National Association of Benefit & Insurance Professionals (NABIP), NY Farm Bureau, NYS Nursery & Landscape Association, and several local chambers of commerce, including Greater East Aurora, Orchard Park, and Eden.

He has brought his goal of educating clients and helping them through the Maze of Medicare to Hartloff Benefit Solutions LLC. This has provided Hartloff Benefits with the ability to help people transition from workplace Health Insurance into Medicare.

Emily is the Director of First Impressions at Hartloff Benefits and is often one of the first people you'll connect with when contacting our office. Whether you're calling to schedule an appointment, stopping by the office, or looking for assistance, her goal is to make every interaction welcoming, helpful, and positive.
With more than 30 years of customer service experience, Emily genuinely enjoys helping others and building meaningful relationships with the individuals and businesses Hartloff Benefits serves. She takes pride in providing exceptional service and helping ensure clients feel supported from the moment they reach out to our team.
As an East Aurora resident, Emily loves being part of such a vibrant and historic community. The strong sense of connection, local traditions, and year-round events are just a few of the reasons she enjoys calling East Aurora home.
When she's not in the office, you'll often find her attending local community events, supporting local businesses, and spending time with family and friends.
Fun Fact: Although Emily is terrified of heights, she has gone skydiving three times—and can't wait for her next jump!

Karter is a Client Account Manager at Hartloff Benefits, where she partners with employers to support their employee benefits programs and day-to-day service needs. She recently earned her New York State Life, Accident & Health Insurance License, further expanding her ability to serve clients and their employees.
Karter brings more than seven years of Human Resources experience, supporting employees and leadership teams across multiple states, including California and South Carolina. Prior to joining Hartloff Benefits, she held HR leadership roles and served on executive leadership teams, giving her a unique perspective on how employee benefits impact company culture, employee engagement, and overall business success.
Throughout her career, Karter has worked across a diverse range of industries, including energy, luxury hospitality, entertainment, and health insurance. This broad experience allows her to quickly understand the unique challenges employers face and provide thoughtful, client-focused support.
Karter enjoys building authentic relationships, simplifying complex benefits concepts, and helping employers create benefits programs that support and retain their workforce. Her HR background enables her to approach benefits not only from an administrative perspective but also through the lens of employee experience and organizational strategy.
Outside of the office, Karter enjoys golfing in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and embracing Western New York life. Since relocating to the area, she has proudly joined Bills Mafia—because in Buffalo, how can you not?
