April has 30 years of experience in the insurance business, the last 15 years as a Strategic Healthcare Consultant. Her initial background as a CSR entrenched her belief that everyone deserves GREAT service. Go above and beyond what is expected. Her philosophy with benefits has been to learn about the business, its employees, and design a benefit program from that perspective.

April’s goal is to provide creative, outside the box benefits solutions. Her concern for the long term well-being of her clients & their employees helped April develop a Trusted Advisor relationship. April has continued to take a Proactive approach helping her clients navigate the ever changing landscape of Employees Benefits.

It is April’s ongoing drive to continuously provide value-added services to her clients that led April to start her Agency. April holds a New York State Property Casualty license, the NY Life Accident & Health license and the Group Benefits Disability Specialist designation.

Alan Has over 40 years of experience in the Insurance industry, with knowledge of many facets of the business. He has many years of working with Employee Benefits, Voluntary Benefits and Worksite marketing.

He has brought his goal of educating clients and helping them through the Maze of Medicare to Hartloff Benefit Solutions LLC. This has provided Hartloff Benefits with the ability to help people transition from workplace Health Insurance into Medicare.

Alan holds the NYS Life Accident & Health license. Alan also has the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant

With having over 35 years of insurance experience, Jan brings a wealth of knowledge to the Hartloff Benefits Team. Her philosophy of working closely with her clients to ensure their specific insurance needs are fulfilled, fits in well with the Hartloff Benefits mission. 

For the last 7 years, Jan has mainly focused on the specialty needs of Medicare Members and the transition into Medicare Advantage plans and supplements. She is there for assistance and to review all necessary requirements clients need to complete when turning 65.

She also works with individuals and small businesses to provide all the insurance services needed. This includes the initial set up and working with her clients during the year whenever a life change requires a different approach. 

Her attention to detail provides her clients assurance that she is always there to help. 

Jan holds a NYS Life, Accident & Health License and Broker Property & Casualty Insurance License.

Marissa brings a multi-faceted insurance background to Hartloff Benefits, most recently working with a large national Employee Benefits Agency. In addition, she has many years of Marketing experience which will strengthen Hartloff Benefits positive outreach to the business community. Her charismatic personality and attention to detail enhance the Benefits experience for both Employers and Employees. 

Marissa shares her aspiration for helping and educating employees regarding their benefits. She also embraces the Hartloff Benefits philosophy of: “Empowering Our Clients to Make Good Health Insurance & Benefits Choices” 

Marissa holds a NYS Life, Accident & Health license; along with the NYS Property/Casualty Broker license.

Lauren has joined Hartloff Benefits as the Office Manager and will be responsible for the broad spectrum of services and resources to provide our business clients, client’s employees, and our Seniors with solutions to any issues they encounter. 

Lauren’s take charge, positive, hard-working mindset will bring Hartloff Benefits customer service to an even higher level. Being a pro-active person who is passionate about finding solutions to any challenge will enhance the client experience with insurance and benefit issues.

Prior to this role, worked at a local Law office in Buffalo. Also, she was a NYS licensed Auto Damage Appraiser for one of WNY’s largest automobile dealerships. Her diverse business background gives her a unique perspective in working with a wide range of clients.

Lauren earned a BA degree in English from the University of Buffalo. She also earned a Post Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate from Daemen College in 2017.

Born and raised in Elma, NY Lauren enjoys spending time with her cockapoo, Penny, listening to true-crime podcasts and spending time with friends & family
